No cages, no car rides. One-on-one grooming at your West Plano door, from Willow Bend to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. If the comb has stopped going through, book now and skip the lecture: we would rather fix it than discuss it.
It was our first time using Poochies and from now on that will be our groomer….Ashley was so sweet to work with and did a fantastic job on my doodle…she made her look so good. Will highly recommend this group to anyone who needs a groomer…..so lucky we found you
We have a 1 year old Doodle and Cody has been so great with him. He is skittish with a lot of folks but he loves Cody. The front office is great, too! Highly recommend!
Amanda C. · Google reviewBrandy was amazing with my 4 month old golden doodles first ever grooming! I wasn't sure exactly how short I wanted to go but she did the perfect length! Also provided me with information on upkeep in between appointments. Happy to say we found the perfect groomer! Thank you Brandy!
Jasmin R. · Google reviewI have been going to Poochies for I believe almost 2 years. I have a mini poodle and Brandy does amazing every time! I love the convenience of their business and they always arrive on time. Highly recommend!
Alexandra L. · Google reviewThere are more doodles per block in West Plano than anywhere else on our map, and a doodle coat is the least forgiving one there is. It’s a wool-mix coat, so it doesn’t shed out, it tangles in, and it does that quietly under the top layer where it looks fine right up until it’s not. The blocks around Willow Bend and the Arbor Hills trails produce our most common 75093 call: it has been a while, I know it has been a while, is it bad? Usually the answer is that it’s fixable, and that’s the end of the conversation. Nobody on our vans is going to make you feel bad in your own driveway. We’ll tell you honestly what the coat can take, and then take care of it.
Wash, blow-out, nails, ears, and a finishing spritz, in the van, in your driveway. Sized and priced by coat type, quoted up front.
Bath package plus the haircut: breed-standard or your call. Matting-safe for doodles, de-shed for double coats, always one-on-one.
Quiet van, no kennels, no car ride, the calm setup anxious cats and senior dogs actually tolerate. Gentle handling, extra breaks.

Our West Plano routes cover Willow Bend and Preston Road at Park Boulevard through the Arbor Hills and Deerfield blocks to Spring Creek Parkway, covering 75093 and reaching 75024 on the same loop. Not sure you're inside the line? Put your address in the booking form and it answers instantly.
Zip codes we serve in West Plano: 75093, 75024.
Couldn't be more pleased. Easy and convenient to schedule. Communication with staff is great! Amber does a wonderful groom on my labradoodle Phoebe and is very informative and keeps me aware of all she was doing. Phoebe is beautiful again! Thank you Amber and Poochies!!
Every six to eight weeks for a full groom, with a brush-out at home a couple of times a week. In Dallas summers most doodles do better on six, and heavy swimmers on four.
No. It happens to good owners constantly and it’s a large part of what we do. Your groomer will show you where the coat is pelted, say plainly whether it can be brushed out or has to come shorter, and then do whichever hurts the dog less.
Only when the alternative is worse for the dog, and never without talking to you first. A coat that’s pelted at the skin can’t be brushed out kindly, and pulling at it for an hour to save a hairstyle isn’t something we’ll do.
Brush to the skin, not over the top of the coat. Slicker brush then a metal comb, twice a week, ten minutes. If the comb won’t pass through, that’s your signal to book now rather than at the usual time.
Baths start at $75 and full grooms start at $130, set by size and coat type. The 75093 trip fee is $20. A heavy de-mat takes longer and is quoted before your groomer starts.
