No cages, no car rides. One-on-one dog and cat grooming at your Richardson door, from Canyon Creek and Cottonwood Park to Custer Road. If you’ve been told nobody grooms cats, you were told wrong.
A bit pricey of course, but for good reason! Their service is unmatched and always friendly, efficient, and accommodating. They do cats too! When I requested someone with experience grooming cats they had multiple people on staff—very impressive! I won't be looking anywhere else for my cat's grooming needs!
Highly recommend! My dog is almost 15 years old and very anxious about being groomed. Mary from Poochies was so sweet and kind and took great care of her!
Libby O. · Google reviewMary is absolutely the best ever! She has gotten to know my dog and she always does a great job with her haircut. Asks a lot of questions about what I want done so that I am happy with the outcome every time! Honestly I only trust my dog with Mary and Poochies. So convenient to have them come to your home and do the service so your dog gets started on grooming as soon as they get here!
Ana C. · Google reviewI have used Poochie's for a year now and cannot sing their praises enough! Mary is so talented and consistent with my dog's grooms and we couldn't be more thankful to have found them
Cameron W. · Google review"Nobody will groom my cat" is one of the most common things we hear on the phone, and in most of Dallas it is close to true. Mobile groomers avoid cats, salons avoid cats, and the ones who will take them put your cat in a room with barking dogs, which is exactly the wrong room. We took the opposite view. Several of our groomers specifically request cat appointments, and the van turns out to be the right environment for it: no dogs, no other animals, no kennel, and one person handling your cat the entire time. Richardson gets a steady share of those bookings, from Canyon Creek through the Cottonwood Park blocks, alongside a busy dog book on the same routes.
Wash, blow-out, nails, ears, and a finishing spritz, in the van, in your driveway. Sized and priced by coat type, quoted up front.
Bath package plus the haircut: breed-standard or your call. Matting-safe for doodles, de-shed for double coats, always one-on-one.
Quiet van, no kennels, no car ride, the calm setup anxious cats and senior dogs actually tolerate. Gentle handling, extra breaks.

Our Richardson routes run Custer Road and Coit through Canyon Creek and Richardson Heights to Arapaho Road and the Cottonwood Park blocks, covering 75080 and reaching 75081 on the same loop. Not sure you're inside the line? Put your address in the booking form and it answers instantly.
Zip codes we serve in Richardson: 75080, 75081.
Extremely great customer service. Mary is patient and kind with my Rocky. So glad I found Poochies.
Yes, and not reluctantly. We have groomers who ask for cat appointments specifically. Request a cat slot when you book, because those groomers run particular days and the route is built around them.
Bath, blow-dry, nail trim, ear clean, and a sanitary or lion trim if the coat needs it. Long-haired cats who have started matting are the most common booking. Your groomer works at the cat’s pace and stops when the cat is finished, not when the checklist is.
Because there are no dogs in it. Most of what frightens a cat at a grooming shop is the sound and smell of other animals. In the van it’s one cat, one groomer, and quiet.
Baths start at $75 and full grooms start at $130 for dogs, priced by size and coat. Cat grooming starts at $75 and is quoted on coat condition. The 75080 trip fee is $20, confirmed before anything is scheduled.
Yes. 75081 rides the same Richardson route as 75080, so availability is effectively identical. Put your address in the booking form and it confirms your exact trip fee instantly.
