No cages, no car rides. One-on-one grooming at your Carrollton door, from the Downtown square to Rosemeade and Hebron Parkway. First groom? We do those all week, and we do them slowly on purpose.
First time having our almost 8 month old puppy groomed (double doodle - half golden doodle/half labradoodle). Had a great experience. Timely response to inquiries and informative. Cody was friendly and a great groomer, definitely will request him again. He listened well with our wants/needs and our puppy's needs. Cody provided guidance and suggestions for our appointment and between appointments which was helpful. Thank you Poochies and Cody!
Great experience today having my puppy groomed. It was her first time so wanted her to have a positive experience. Mary was wonderful and she looks amazing!! I would highly recommend this service! Including before and after pics. Thank you!!
Lanesa K. · Google reviewAmazing at-home service. Sierra came right on time and gave my old puppy a wonderful bath and haircut. Very very patient and thorough — wonderful job.
Jocelyn D. · Google reviewWe have been using Poochies for several years and they have always done a great job on our toy poodle. Brandy has a real eye for poodle styling and is always willing to make adjustments as needed. Our 9-year old dog has a lot of trauma from being in a puppy mill for 6 years, but Brandy makes the whole grooming process less stressful for us all and drives to our house.
Michael K. · Google reviewCarrollton is full of young families and therefore full of first grooms. Somebody brings a puppy home in spring, and by late summer the coat needs a real haircut and nobody in the house has done this before. Here is the honest version: the first appointment matters more than it looks, because a puppy who has a bad first groom remembers it for years. So we make it short. We do the bath, the nails, the ears, a light tidy, and we stop while the puppy is still doing well rather than pushing for a perfect haircut. Our vans work the streets around McInnish Park, Rosemeade and Hebron Parkway weekly, so the second appointment comes soon enough that nothing has been forgotten.
Wash, blow-out, nails, ears, and a finishing spritz, in the van, in your driveway. Sized and priced by coat type, quoted up front.
Bath package plus the haircut: breed-standard or your call. Matting-safe for doodles, de-shed for double coats, always one-on-one.
Quiet van, no kennels, no car ride, the calm setup anxious cats and senior dogs actually tolerate. Gentle handling, extra breaks.

My first time using Poochies mobile dog grooming, and they did an amazing job Ashley was super sweet and very good with Poppy. I'll definitely recommend and use again.
Once they’re fully vaccinated, usually around 12 to 16 weeks, and before the coat actually needs it. The first visit is about teaching the puppy that this is normal, so booking early is easier than booking when there’s already a problem.
Bath, blow-dry, nails, ears, and a light tidy rather than a full haircut. Your groomer stops while the puppy is still comfortable. You get a rundown afterward of how they did and what to practise at home before next time.
Baths start at $75 and full grooms start at $130, priced by size and coat type. The trip fee is $15 in 75007 and $20 in 75010, confirmed in your booking confirmation before anything is scheduled.
Short and often beats long and occasional. Ten minutes twice a week with a slicker brush and a metal comb, brushing to the skin rather than over the top of the coat. Your groomer will show you the spots that tangle first on your specific dog.
Yes. They go back to back, each with their own one-on-one session. It’s a common Carrollton booking and it usually means the puppy watches the calm older dog go first, which helps more than you would think.
