No cages, no car rides. One-on-one grooming at your Casa Linda door, minutes from the White Rock spillway, Garland Road and Forest Hills. Lake day was the right call. The 48 hours after it are where coats get lost.
Amber is fantastic and my mini golden doodle is so much happier having a mobile groomer!!! She would cry in the car on the way to her past groomer. They did a nice job but I think the craziness of the place with all the dogs stressed her out. So happy I switched to Poochies.
Cody is the best groomer for Golden's! He always makes my dog look amazing.
Shayne S. · Google reviewWe love Poochies! They have groomed our Golden probably 5-10 times now and have done a great job every time & are very easy to schedule with. Couldn't recommend more!
Katherine C. · Google reviewSeriously the best!! I get so nervous getting my golden doodle groomed because they always mess up in the face and he looks weird! I just about cried when I saw my dog today!! Tammy did EXACTLY what was asked of her and Theodore looks absolutely precious!! Can not recommend her enough!
Chasity M. · Google reviewLiving this close to the water is the whole point of Casa Linda, and it’s also why our Monday phone calls in summer all sound the same: she swam Saturday, and now there are clumps. Here is what actually happened. Swimming twists a long coat into ropes, air-drying locks them, and two days of ordinary dog life felts them into mats at the skin. Inside about 48 hours that’s a normal groom, a brush-out to the skin and a proper dry that leaves nothing damp at the root. Past the window it becomes a shorter cut, because we’ll not rip mats out of a dog to save a hairstyle. Our vans work Garland Road, the Casa Linda Plaza blocks and Forest Hills weekly, which is why post-lake bookings here usually land fast.
Wash, blow-out, nails, ears, and a finishing spritz, in the van, in your driveway. Sized and priced by coat type, quoted up front.
Bath package plus the haircut: breed-standard or your call. Matting-safe for doodles, de-shed for double coats, always one-on-one.
Quiet van, no kennels, no car ride, the calm setup anxious cats and senior dogs actually tolerate. Gentle handling, extra breaks.

Our Casa Linda routes run Garland Road and Buckner Boulevard through Forest Hills, Old Lake Highlands and the Casa Linda Plaza blocks to the White Rock spillway, covering 75218 and reaching 75228 on the same loop. Zip codes we serve in Casa Linda: 75218, 75228.
Poochies does a fabulous job grooming our golden doodle. I love every cut they do and after a few bad experiences with other places we are so happy to have a consistent groomer that tenderly cares for and groomers our dog so well and thoughtfully. Thankful for their text communication. Both my husband and I work outside of the home and they are very accommodating working around our schedules. Extremely helpful that they come to our home!
Within about 48 hours if there’s any real coat length. Inside that window it’s a normal groom. Past it, the kind option is usually a shorter cut, and that’s a decision nobody enjoys making.
Rinse the lake water out the same day, a hose is better than nothing. Towel hard, then brush to the skin while the coat dries. If a metal comb won’t pass through, don’t wait for your next scheduled groom.
Usually. 75218 sits on a weekly route and we keep post-lake slots open through the summer specifically for this. Call or text rather than waiting on the form if the coat is already pelting.
Baths start at $75 and full grooms start at $130, priced by size and coat type. The 75218 trip fee is $25. A heavy de-mat takes longer and is quoted before your groomer starts, never added afterward.
Four weeks through swim season for a doodle or any long coat. It costs less over a summer than one rescue de-mat and a shave-down, and your groomer will tell you which weeks the coat is losing.
