Payment is due when we’re done grooming your pet

We take cash (no change on hand, sorry!), checks, or credit cards.

Just a heads-up—cards come with a 3.5% processing fee.

Estimates

Our pricing is based on estimates, reflecting our experience from over 30,000 grooms. While we strive for accuracy, predicting a pet’s behavior, coat condition, presence of mats, or the overall complexity of a groom is challenging. Therefore, our initial estimates are based on standard haircuts with good coat condition and good pet behavior.

Please note: If a groom requires additional time or specialized handling due to factors such as extensive dematting, behavioral challenges, or other unforeseen difficulties, an extra charge will apply.

For show cuts, including hand stripping, full-body hand scissoring, or a desired final length of over 1.5 in we provide custom pricing. These services require exceptional skill and time from our talented artists, resulting in a show-ready look.

Accurate estimates depend on the information you provide. If there’s a discrepancy between the details shared (e.g., your pet’s size) and the actual pet presented, we cannot honor the original price. We rely on the pictures and information you share to provide accurate quotes. Any changes will be communicated and agreed upon before any services or additional charges are applied.

Time

If a pets behavior makes the groom unable to be completed, a full charge will still apply.

If more time is needed due to coat condition or behavior, additional cost will be added at $2/min

Mats

Painful for a pet to have and remove, we take the utmost care to remove or brush out.

Cost to remove or brush out is $2/min, rounded to the next 5-minute increment, $20 minimum.

If brushing out mats would cause unnecessary pain or exhaustion to the pet, groomer will not brush out, and only be able to shave out.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, there’s a $50 fee. We totally get that life throws curveballs sometimes, so please let us know ASAP if plans shift. We value our groomers’ time as much as we cherish you and your furry crew.

Arrival Windows

Arrival times aren’t set in stone—they’re more like a cozy window. We do our absolute best to stick to them, but pets can be wild cards. Sometimes our kids (looking at you, Atticus, my 3-year-old who’s the most fun human on the planet) don’t let us get out the door on time. Sometimes we may have an issue with one of our vans and we need to do a quick repair even though we maintenance them weekly. Matting, aggression, surprises, or an off day can slow us down—and we all know how unpredictable DFW traffic can be.

Please give us a little wiggle room. Our groomers will shoot you a heads-up 15-30 minutes before their arrival.

Drop Off & Pickup Policy

Since we’ve agreed on an arrival window and the groomer will notify you when they’re on the way, we expect to receive the pet within 5 minutes of arriving. If we have to wait longer than 5 minutes, a waiting fee of $2 per minute will be charged to the customer.

The same policy applies to pickup. The groomer will notify you approximately 15-20 minutes before finishing and again when the pet is ready. If the groomer has to wait more than 5 minutes for pickup, a waiting fee of $2 per minute will be applied for every minute beyond the initial 5 minutes.
